The Kooples was founded in Paris in 2008 by ree French brothers, Alexandre, Laurent and Raphael Elicha.

It unravels the traditional notion of separate men’s and women’s clothing and creates concepts which fuse and mingle the collections.

Our studio designs complete wardrobes for both men and women. From a perfectly cut suit to casual jeans and accessories to offer contemporary and effortlessly cool silhouettes with a Parisian twist. The Kooples has also selected the bespoke tailor Norton & Sons, one of the most renowned tailors on Savile Row, the well-known Londonian district, to create the patterns of all woven pieces. The true art of tailoring through the superiority of the fit is a real testament for our brand.
What is the most prevalent fabric content?
Leather, of course is a master fabric, our lace, made in the north of France, is also a part of The Kooples' DNA. We mainly use textured lace with a matt finish called "Dentelle de Calais".
Other fabrics that we use a lot are silk, crepe, but also cotton, all our shirts are made from Egyptian cotton, a fabric that is known for its superior quality. Finally, wool is really important in our collections, our suits are made in Europe using top-quality fabrics from Italy and France.
